The UK based Kerry Blue Terrier Rescue is delighted to announce that as of Wednesday 22nd March 2017 the Kennel Club have added us to their list of recommended breed specific rescues.

This is an incredible achievement for us in what is a relatively short space of time and is true testimony to the professionalism and dedication of everyone involved with the Rescue. We are so proud that we've been recognised by the Kennel Club for the work that we're doing in helping re-home and rescue Kerry Blues and find them their loving forever homes.

The Kennel Club listing was always part of our future goals and we are delighted to have achieved it. This will really help us reach out to more people who are interested in this adorable breed.

This has come back on the recent announcements that both the Kerry Blue Terrier Club of England and Kerry Blue Terrier Association have also endorsed our Rescue. The Kennel Club listing wouldn't have happened had the two clubs not acknowledged the work we are doing and offered their overwhelming support and backing.
We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank both clubs and their committee's for the overwhelming support that they have shown us.

We would also like to also thank each and everyone of our supporters who have offered their help, time, support, advice or guidance since we started. You have all helped shape the Rescue and we wouldn't be where we are today without you.

Are you able to offer one of our Kerry Blue Terrier's a loving forever home or able to help the rescue by providing a much needed foster home?

We currently (20th March 2017) are looking for forever homes for 6 Kerry Blue's. We have 3 Kerry Blue's in foster homes being assessed and a further 1 coming into foster next week. We have 1 dog being rehomed next week and a further two dogs (currently residing with their present owners) looking for their forever homes.

Foster
The rescue has never been this busy and as we are not a Kennel based organisation we rely on volunteers to help foster Kerry's waiting for their future loving families to come forward. This is an extremely rewarding role and all costs are covered by the rescue.

Adoption
Whilst we have an active waiting list of forever homes they all offer different situations and circumstances and we don't work on a first come first serve basis as every home has to the the right and perfect match for the Kerry.
