Choosing a Kerry in need of a new loving forever home is a big undertaking and not one to be taken lightly. Rescue and re-homed Kerry’s can present many challenges especially because in some cases their history is unknown. It requires a huge amount of patience. They will all have had their own experiences from their past, traumatised in a way; from mistreatment to just losing a home or owners and gaining another.
Always remember that you may be ready and prepared for the dog but the dog may not be ready or prepared for you. the rescue will always be there to support and try and help in anyway we can but remember that every dog is an individual and so what works for one may not work for another.
Please read the rescues "Owning a Kerry" advice document below and the testimonies document is full a real life stories shared from owners of Kerry Blue Terriers
Please meet the adorable Oscar who is currently in Foster but is looking for his loving forever home. He is a neutered 5 years old boy.
Oscar is a very friendly boy who especially loves young ones and has lived with children.
He is quite protective of his home and family. He 's wary of strangers who he doesn't know and he needs someone who can work with him when it comes to meeting new people and new people entering the house especially males.
In his current foster home he is living with three laid back female dogs but he can be selective and so careful introductions are a must .
Oscar is such a loveable wee soul who deserves a loving fireplace, if you would like to offer Oscar a loving place in your home and heart or would like any more information then please email us on email@example.com for an interest form.
Meet the loveable Oban. He is a 12 year young male male who is sadly looking for a loving retirement home, sadly due the ill health of his owner.
Oban is friendly and playful boy with his family and friends and in true Kerry style likes to bark at strangers and can be cautious with them until he gets to know them.
Oban has never lived with other animals and can be selective of the doggy company he keeps when out on walks. Our preference would be that he stays as an only dog due to his age.
He is a loving, playful and energetic. He has so much to give the right owner, though isn't been used to being left on his own so someone who's around a lot would be ideal.
This boy is just adorable, if you would like to offer Oban a loving place in your home and heart or would like more information then please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org for an interest form.
Meet cheeky 5 year old George. He is a 5 year old neutered male who is currently with the rescue in foster.
Whilst we are still assessing him he is a really sweet dog who like a bit of mischief, a true Kerry character.
He can only be rehomed with older children and whilst can be selective of other dogs he has been introduced to a laid back female and has been fine.
George is just an adorable boy and needs someone who can offer him love, structure and most of all lots of mental and physical stimulation. If you would like to offer cheeky George a loving place in your home and heart or would like more information then please email us on email@example.com for an interest form.
Please meet the playful Bruno.
Bruno was found as a stray in Ireland and is currently in a foster home with the rescue.
He very loving and loves his play time. We know little about his past and so whilst in foster he will be going through a period of assessment, though doesn’t he look happy and content?
He’s been neutered, vaccinated and had a good bath and trim and just look at the transformation. 😍😍😍
If you would like to offer Bruno a loving place in your home and heart then please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org for an interest form.
